I found an art catalog (I think ...Thanks Stephanie! I found an art catalog (I think it was Nasco) and I got the canvas for around $6 a piece. I just used materials from my class room on the art so that was the only expense. I have done the auction 2 years now and both years I made right at about $1,100 after the expense of the canvas. They went for $25 to $110, depending on how bad parents wanted them. Most of the projects were collages where they made something independently and glued their part to the canvas. Every kid contributed something to the canvas. They had other projects going on at the same time.
